Wake Up To True Meaning

Scientists trying unravel common nightmares believe they reflect emotions or concerns.

A study of 2000 people found the five most common themes in nightmares are falling, being chased, feeling paralysed, being late, and the death of a loved one.

Men are more likely to dream about violence or being sacked.

Bereavement and sexual harassment crop up more often in women's dreams. The scientists said dreaming about losing teeth or hair reflected anxiety about ageing and looks and dreaming about falling from a great height was about falling in and out of love.
