North,South,East,West

On Sunday, my aunt and uncle took my family (mom+dad+me) to Wollongong which is in the South i think?

we went around sight seeing till about evening and came back to rest. We saw dolphins from afar with a binoculars. =)

On Monday, we went to Chatswood to shop early in the morning then went to my Uncle's mom place to sit for a while and later we all had Vietnamese sliced beef noodle for lunch, yummy! then i came back and went to work.

On Tuesday, we left home early to Chatswood again because mom hasn't walked the whole place yet so we went shopping. Had Vietnamese beef ball noodle with soup again! yummy too but not as good as the Restaurant we ate at on Monday. We then left to Hornsby mall and shop, bought LOADS of clothes, especially mom. CRAZY! we haven't walked the whole of Hornsby Mall yet and they were closing at 5pm onwards so we went home to my aunt's place in North Turramurra and had late lunch/tea there. Once my uncle came home, we waited for him to finish his dinner and then he took us to Chinatown and Darling Harbor in the city to walk around. We saw performances by Orchestra + Choir. Do you know how BEAUTIFUL that sounds when both Choir + Orchestra is combined? it was performed by a high school, i can't really remember the name but WOAH!!! and they were performing in the middle of the harbor, imagine your stage is on the water in the middle of the harbor.... o.O!

We walked around and then left for home pretty late. we arrived home about 12.30am. LOL.

Today (Wednesday), it is Australia Day and we went to the Blue Mountains, lovely! we stopped by Leura suburb... i'm not entirely sure if it's called Leura or Leura something LOL. had breakfast and then went around Blue Mountains and then came back down to Leichardt suburb to have late lunch which was about 4ish. this suburb is like a little Italy suburb filled with Italians. the food is just awesome! i can't even express! the gelato is so damn delicious too! omigosh i need to go to Leichardt if i ever want Italian food. even though it's just lasagne and pasta, the sauce is so damn different and delicious! i'm in awe.

anyways,sorry for not updating but i'll put up some pictures i took today soon when my internet renews. =)

Tired But Kinda Fun

my parents arrived yesterday and it's only today i got to take them out to the Lane Cove shops to walk around.

spent so much time at the Chemist Warehouse! my dad thought of buying chocolates or whatever back for his friends but instead he saw cheap Panadol selling for $0.39 for a pack of 100 tablets and remembered that he got a friend who always have migraine or headaches and so he bought 2 packs of that for his friend! what a joker!!! i was literally laughing my ass off! i mean,of all the things, really? after we paid,the lady who gave me back the change, gave me singapore money!! wat the f!!!!!!! it's my fault that i didn't check but who would mix singapore money in there..?! obviously they did not check!

then we walked around 3 supermarkets. nearly died. Woolworths, Asian Fruit & Veg shop and Thomas Dux. nearly went into Coles. crazy!! my legs and arms are about to break. buy so many stuff and it's so heavy, thank god we found a trolley to push it home. LOL!!

anyways, the highlight of the day was, dad taught me to make Dahl, an indian bean kind of soup/paste. HAHA! it's so easy i think i can make it myself next time! :D
i ate it with 2 pieces of roti canai for breakfast! how awesome is my day!! HAHAHA!

oh and i got a text from Heidi asking me to go sailing from 21st-25th but my parents are here!! its not that i don't want to go! =( i'm so tempted to! but of course i would priortise spending time with my parents throughout their stay, who knows i might not see them again for how long :(

i think i'll cry terribly when they're about to go back to Msia. SIGH.

Show Me How You BURLESQUE !!!

I was anticipating for this movie for a very long time and last night i decided i should really go and watch this movie today because Tuesdays are movie day which means any ticket you buy would be about $10. The price is $15-$20 per movie ticket on any other day.

I must tell you, I did not regret watching this movie! In fact, i was so into the movie the whole time! Christina Aguilera has been my favorite singer since she debuted and it has always been like that. I was so totally blown away by her singing and dancing! Of course, Cher was terrific as well! Cam Gigandet IS SO HOT IN BURLESQUE!!!! Omigosh, the eyeliner makes him even HOTTER! I did not know he was the actor who acted as the vampire James in Twilight, he looks so blurgh as James but as Jack in Burlesque, somebody get me the fire distinguisher quick!! hahahahah~!!

For people who loves music and appreciate varieties of music and not make people into stereotypes, you should go and watch this movie!!!!

Best $11 ever spent!!!!

i don't know about you but i really love this movie!!!! i think i might buy the dvd when it releases!

all i can say is, i can't take my eyes off Cam Gigandet & Christina Aguilera !!!!

BBQ @ Anna's

got back after work and walked with Hannah home coz we're rushing to go to Anna's place for BBQ.

grabbed my rump steak and 5 seeds and chips to bring over. yum!

just the girls there. a BBQ to start the year for our Connect Group. got a new girl to join us! her name is Ivy. i hope i spelled it right, unless there's another way to spell it.

highlights of the BBQ are:

~made a new friend Ivy and she's pretty cool,married to an English dude all the way from UK. she's Asian though and he's a black guy. :)

~gone hyper and start dancing and chatting away which was good, i wish i was in this mood all the time. that's how i can be more sociable i think lol..

~ate too much, so full!

Will You Be There For Me??

I've tried so hard to be there for people who are close to me because I don't want people to feel like I'm slacking as a friend.

I don't want people to feel like they can't talk to me about anything, about their problems or whatever.

Just come to me and drop something random on me, I'll accept anything. If you're mad at someone, come talk to me, curse him/her whatever, I'll be there to listen. If you're saddened by someone or some event, come talk to me, I'll still be listening and I'll do whatever I can to comfort you and stay by your side. As long as you know I care and for whatever it takes to see you smile again, I'll do it.

I treasure true friends, appreciate the friendship even though there are ups and downs, life's like a roller coaster right?

To me, losing a friend is like losing a piece of my heart and a hole has been left there. I don't think my heart would be pretty anymore if it looks like a doughnut... Right?

Know this, I care for everyone, even for people who have wronged me, even for people who I've met like once or never at all, I'm still trying to improve myself to become a better person, a wiser person, the best friend I can be. I know the feeling of loneliness, of betrayal and I shall do no sort of those because it is a shitty feeling and I don't want anyone to feel that. I cannot promise you that I can solve anything or give solutions and advice but I'm here to listen and lend a shoulder to cry on.

Good Charlotte - Sex On The Radio

went to churchie today, usually while waiting for everyone to get to church before 6pm, songs will be played on the loud speakers. and as i walked in today a punk rock kinda christian song was playing on the loud speakers. i enjoyed it but i was talking to Jo and Clouds so i wasn't exactly paying much attention to the song. Jo then told me that it was Paramore on the loud speakers.. i was like 'oh really?coolness!'.. and yeah in case you guys did not know, Paramore started out as a Christian band... they still produce Christian songs i suppose but i never heard of their Christian songs, it's my first time hearing it and it's awesome!

so after church Hannah made the best Banoffee pie ever!! mini ones!! she said she used to work in a bar back in the UK and they made those pies and that's how she got to making it! btw,she's an awesome cook! oh yeah, Monica made a date with me to meet with her at Chatswood for lunch on Tuesday but she said she has to check her schedule so hopefully it works out! i like hanging one on one or in 2 and 3's but not too many like Connect Group coz i dont like all the attention at once. LOL.

oh i ate some chips and accidentally spilled some salsa sauce on my white top!! ARGHH! thank god it's not visible... huhuhu i really hope it comes off~!!

on the side note, went groceries shopping earlier today and bought a 10kg pack of rice, my parents are arriving on Wednesday and the rice at home has just finished. LOL. timing just nice. bought many many veges and other stuff needed. pushed the freaking trolley back to our apartment.

while pushing the trolley back, my aunt and i kinda pushed the trolley on the bicycle lane and coz it was going downhill, not the steep kind, i just stood on the trolley and let it roll down..damn funny. my aunt was running with me coz she wanted to balance the trolley so i wouldn't fall. actually she saw me lifting my legs up to try and roll downhill and asked me to stand on it and she hold onto the side LOL. my gran just walked slowly behind us laughing away... craziness but fun!! i should remember next time when we pushed the trolley back i should roll downhill! i'm just afraid i will lose balance and the trolley go to the middle of the road. LOL! coz the sidewalk is too tight for me to roll down.. haha! oh wells...

Mani + Pedi + Champagne + Movie

my day was a normal relaxing day except it was exceptionally stuffy and hot today! grrrr....

about 8pm after dinner i went over to Keilah's to have a mani and pedi session haha... and watched The Secret Garden and 2 episodes of 2 CSI, Miami & New York. had 3 glasses of champagne...delicious!

Keilah will be moving out next weekend, YAY! she will be moving in with a new church member of ours, his name is Paki or Parky, just a nickname for him i'm sure. but i'm not sure how to spell it and he's asian. don't ask me what race coz i've yet to find out! i've only said HI to him at church but didn't get to talk much with him. maybe i will when Keilah moves in. we were talking about wanting a puppy and Keilah mentioned Paki has mice as pets. i was like OMGGGG CUTEEESSSS,i love mice coz i used to have hamsters and then Keilah looked at me with the o.O expression and said 'maybe you and Paki can bond over some mice eh?'..... What the? She said he wants to get rats now... YERRRR!!! and then Keilah said , don't go for Paki, he's not very good looking. hahahahah i actually think he's average looking, big eyes and a nice smile, for an asian that's good looking right? or at least average.

anyway, that's about it. oh and i've listened to Why?(Keep Your Head Down) by TVXQ for the i dunno 1000000x times? lol! and i realised it sounded like another song from their 4th album. exactly same drumbeat. oh wells. i could be wrong but i'm pretty sensitive to sounds so i know my own hearing. haha!

Breakfast + Hot Tub + Movie

so arrr... today i went to have breaky with Jo & Keilah at Firefly, where Benny works.

the Breakfast Bruschetta was really, really tasty!!! it's the most delicious thing ever!! had a good chat and Jo went to work, Keilah and I then headed to do some photography and headed to buy groceries and head home. I then later went to Keilah's and have a dip in the hot tub, the sun was so blazing hot we felt like we're baking in the hot tub. the cool breeze comes and go for a while. after that we headed into the lounge and hang out, watch a bit of tv and then turned on the Pride & Prejudice DVD.

Later i came back for dinner and after dinner my aunt turned on the tv and saw that Channel 7 was playing Pride & Prejudice. LOL! we obviously beat 'em to it! :D it's a pretty good movie.

Cooking....?

wah..i cooked 2 dishes today, both are simple vegetables. granny asked me to cook, say i should learn so that next time when i get married i can cook for my hubby. LOL.

i can cook lahhh...i just seldom cook because i don't get to use the stove and all,i can even bake, i used to help my mom bake and made pancakes before, even my brother loves the pancakes i make. HAHA! oh well, next time i'll cook more when i get the chance to practice. i remember once i made pancakes, my brother almost finished it ALL. it was supposed to be for everyone, mom, dad, bro and me but i only managed to eat 1 piece, my parents ate few pieces and my bro ate the most! i even made 1 huge piece the size of the pan but my bro ate it. =.="

my brother used to make me cook for him when i'm at his place too. which is nice because i like cooking. i think cooking is like art, and i believe if someone is feeling sad and happens to cry during cooking, the person who eats the dish will feel the feeling too. so yes people, try to calm whatever feeling you're feeling during cooking, it helps a lot. if you're happy, all the more better! :)

Big Bang - Haru Haru/Day By Day

Okay, if you’re wondering about the post title, that is because I’ve ran out of ideas to named my post, so I’ll just write the song that I’m listening to when I write the post, as well as for future posts unless if i can think of something interesting for the title.

So today I’ve had a great day because I got to hang out with Anna Bradley, just her. =)

She’s awesome. Nuff said. We went to Fink café to get coffee and she wanted the breakfast burrito from Fink café because she said it’s really good there. But Fink café decided to not open and will only open tomorrow, looks like the owner’s on a long holiday. Actually not many cafés are open at the moment. So then we headed to Crow’s Nest which is another suburb not far from Lane Cove to the New Orleans café and we ordered a LARGE Nachos with Vege and Beans and we shared. When the Nachos came, I was like O_O because the portion is freaking huge and there was SO MUCH melted Mozarella cheese on it including the celery, lentil beans, kidney beans, guacamole, salsa. Woah. Just woah. We couldn’t finish it but ordered take away coffee and headed to Blues Point which is at the Harbour and we’re directly facing the Harbour Bridge overlooking Sydney Harbour. AWESOME VIEW. We even saw an old ship sailing by and that ship looks like the really old worn out kind. I dunno how to explain it so here’s a picture of how it looks like, or similar.

I had to work at 3pm and we then headed to Chatswood and did some shopping. I bought a short sleeved cardigan for dresses and she bought a necklace with a cross that I showed her when I first entered Sports Girl store. It was PRETTY! So both of us got something and then I realized it was already half past 2 so we rushed back and I got back just in time to rush to work. Phew!

At work, during my 2^nd class, I already got water in my ear. What the heck! Anyways, I was partially deaf throughout my lessons. LOL! At my 2^nd last lesson, one of the students, a girl, hugged my leg and wouldn’t let go as I was getting up to get the floats. O.o” sigh….. anyway, I had a great day! Work is great! The kids are adorable! Hung out with Anna. =)

Jo texted me and we decided to hang out on Friday for brekkie. YAY! More dates! But why aren’t guys asking me for dates? SIGH…………………

New Year's Eve

Ok so for NYE I initially didn’t want to go to the party that Jo organized few weeks ago because I was too lazy to dress up and it would cost $ to rent or buy the outfit, you know I just started working and all and I didn’t quite want to spend my moneys on something that I’ll probably never wear it again or even throw it away. Not that I wanted to make up an excuse but on NYE itself, I woke up with a cramp because it was the time of month, damn! I couldn’t quite walk properly without a hand pressing to my tummy and I wasn’t talking much, mainly lying in bed reading my Torment book. Urgh, suckish feeling.

So I received a text from Jo around 3ish PM asking if I was coming, I told her I had period cramps so I can’t make it. She said ‘Just come anyway.’ And I did not reply, after 10 minutes she send me another text ‘Do you need a lift?’ and I went to ask my granny if it was ok that I go to the party and not accompany them to see the fireworks, she just asked me where is my friend’s place and then allowed me to go. So I texted her and said ‘yeah I’ll get change now.’ She replied with a ‘yay’ and called me after 5 minutes to say they’re coming to get me. So I got changed, checked that everything’s in my handbag (i.e. keys, money) and I received a called from Heidi, she said ‘hey Suey! I’m in your driveway now, stalking you.’ So I literally ran out coz I don’t like making people wait for me. I saw Pebbles in the car (Heidi) and we went to pick the two Jedi’s (Jo & Keilah) at the shops because they ran out of colored hair spray and hair spray so they went to buy it, they also bought capes. LOL! Ok, so from here onwards I’ll just write the highlights of the party coz I don’t wanna type too much.

That was just the story of how I got dragged to the party. Haha!

I may have left out some but I’ll think about it later. I’ll put up the pictures so you can see for yourself. We rented a huge jumping castle with a Dragon mouth as the entrance. It was fun. The boys (Joe, Will, Nick) literally went crazy!! As long as they’re in the castle, they keep dragging people down, as in not leaving anyone standing. It was brutal. I got a kicked in my hips by Nick and Will just grabbed my leg and pulled me down so I literally fell down. I can’t even stand up straight in the castle. Grrr……

Anyhoo, at 12am we saw the fireworks and just started hugging each other!! Although I wished I had a boyfriend to share that moment with, it was still good nonetheless. Craig came and hugged me and even though it’s our first time meeting, we hugged, joked and chased each other around, well he chased me because he wanted to pull me down into the pool with him. If only he didn’t have a girlfriend………. I would’ve liked him…. Hahaha…

Oh oh, 1 more thing, Kitty wore a dress that shows her cleavage and she put a little plastic cup in the middle of her boobs and Ryan drank from the cup, my god… he looked like he’s done it a thousand times, and then Clouds drank from that cup too, she was struggling a bit. And I dunno what Clouds, Kitty and Anna were talking about but Clouds tapped my boobs, TWICE! -.- what the…

Kitty wrote on her booth, 11.30pm - 12am is Happy Hour! So all of us got a kiss from her! Haha. She kissed Clouds on the lips, well just a peck on the lips, and then she kissed me on the cheek, thank god not on my lips lol! Then Clouds leaned in to kiss my cheek. Umm… she was saying it out loud (not yelling and not whispering) that she felt like making out with someone because she drank too much alcohol lolz… then she gave me a peck on my lips! -.- I was stunned for a while but I didn’t quite mind, I think I have to admit after drinking alcohol, I too, felt like making out… haha… but I have self control and that is the reason why I think I didn’t mind, because I had a little too much to drink? Honestly speaking, if I hadn’t had alcohol, I would’ve been stunned and freaked out if a girl kissed me. I’m so against that, well if it happened to me that is…
