Connect Group

well,i go to church so every Monday we will have connect group or people in Malaysia would know it as 'cell group' but we split it to single sex connect groups which obviously i attend the girls one.

so today we were just simply talking about random stuff,well actually we were discussing on the 40 Days Of Purpose chapter but it got off track so yeah it turned into a chatting session where we all share our experiences as being a christian or how we view our lives as a christian.

so Anna Stewart(my fren,also bro's flatmate) was sharing that she is friends with a guy at work and today she suddenly told him that she is a christian and from the look on his face, she can tell that she totally changed the whole image of how he sees her. like he sees her as weird or judgmental or just plainly felt condemned or intimidated. some how. so we all were discussing like how people actually feel that when they know you are a christian they'd feel condemned like they see this level of you and them,like they can't really relate to you in some way,like as if your life is perfect and they can't live it up like how you do. but they don't realise is that we are all human,we are christians but that does not mean we are perfect. this they have to know, we are just like anyone of you out there,we make mistakes too just like every other normal human being.

and then we went on to discuss that what most of them got out of reading the 40 Days Of Purpose book is that, we don't focus on the one thing,that is Love,and God IS Love which means we have to focus on God only and every other thing falls into place. this is quite true which i agree most because we are too self indulgent or surrounded by the worldly things that we don't spend time with God or we don't put Him first in everything we do. we are too caught up with our own lives that we don't see that God says to not worry about tomorrow and let tomorrow worry about tomorrow. we must always worship God everyday 24/7 and that we must always remember Him and put Him first in everything we do,do not worry about all other things because once we satisfy God,which is to worship Him everyday and build a close relationship with Him,He will bless us in every aspect of our lives. it is also because,whether we like it or not,God IS in control of our lives,He created us for his pleasure,He loves us too much that He wants to give us the best of everything and what we need to do in return is to just focus on Him,don't worry about what your life is gonna be like tomorrow because God is there and will always be there for you. we just need to live the life of satisfying God and building a close relationship with Him and everything will be just fine.

i think that pretty much is about sums it up,actually there were more discussions but i cannot remember everything at once. i'll blog it if i do remember it. the one thing i've got to do now,which I NOW realised that i'm not doing is that i just have to focus on God and nothing else matters anymore to me. i'm so glad this is the answer i've been looking for all along and i've found it. Thank you Jesus for everything You've done in my life.

Worship is far more than praising,singing,and praying to God. Worship is a lifestyle of enjoying God, loving him, and giving ourselves to be used for his purposes, When you use your life for God's glory, everything you do can become an act of worship. The Bible says "Use your whole body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God."
