someone told me that a guy and a girl can never be best friends.

i'm proud to say i have many best guy friends and we were always there for each other when we're down and also hang a lot together.
maybe, just maybe, i think there's something wrong with you if you say feelings will develop. why? coz you can never control your sexual urges/desires huh? perv!
if you're saying after marriage, you guys will turn awkward then that's understandable because your partner would never be happy about it coz of jealousy, but what if your partner doesn't mind and clearly knows you guys are best friends? doesn't matter right?
and also, as long as both of you are clear that the line is drawn and you both will just stay as friends, then why not?
