Awesome Sunrise + Lunch Date

I went to Jynn’s place to stayover on Tuesday 4th Oct and stayed til the 5th Oct because we had planned to go to Bondi Beach with DJ Jin, a friend of ours, to watch the sunrise. Jynn is going back to Malaysia for good soon and this would be her last and only experience of sunrise here in Australia.

She slept at about 11ish and I slept at 12ish AM and we woke up at 3AM to her alarm. DJ Jin was supposed to come pick us up at 4AM so we had to get ready. We got ready in time and went downstairs to meet him. We then drove to a 7-11 and bought snacks and drinks. Jynn and I bought DARE espresso and a double espresso coffee as our companion to hopefully wake us up or give us some energy. Little did we know, after we drank the espresso, it gave us so much energy that we went high. We also bought 3 Magnum ice creams for each. So that’s our breakfast.

As we arrived the beach at 4.30AM. It was pitch black. There was hardly anyone and it feels like we’re the only ones there. So we went and took pictures at the skate park and then went to make ourselves comfortable on the beach. We lay out towels for us to sit/lie down. We played sparklers and there was 2 security guards driving towards us that we thought we weren’t allowed to play sparklers on the beach so we quickly kept them. Little did we know, the guards came to us and asked us why did we stopped playing that sparkly thing, and we showed them that it was sparklers and they were like ‘oh I thought it was some kind of light and we purposely drove here to see you girls play’. Swt. Jynn and I totally went insane, we took jumping pictures, ran into the ocean to only accidentally get our pants wet because we didn’t plan to get wet at all! It was freezing cold so we had to do something right? Jump and run around to make ourselves warm. We then saw people having personal trainers that went jogging along the beach. It was 5.30 – 6AM.

Jynn mistaken 1 man as a lady that ran half naked which was really funny because she was thinking why would a lady jogged along the beach topless with just her panties on. Hahahah~ it was actually a guy’s kind of swimmers, the brief kind.

We literally saw no sunrise. It was bull. The sun did not rise from Bondi Beach I think we’re facing the wrong direction, we only saw daylight. Oh wells. It was fun, nonetheless, especially with us doing all kinds of spastic stuff that you wouldn’t imagine. Yes, we’re spastic kids. We then head to Macca’s for breakfast and headed home at about 8am. Both of us went straight to bed because we had a lunch date with some of the church people so we each slept about 3-4 hours, which was good. We didn’t feel tired after that.

During lunch time, our leader June had cancelled on us so we just met up with Esther, Sarah and Monica. Had heaps of fun, they are such funny girls. Of course, we’re funny too. To them, we’re like comedians and Sarah actually said we’re meant to be together otherwise it wouldn’t be fun. Haha! What the… they are so giggly and Esther is just so blur and sarcastic which is good! I like sarcasm. GG. I think we’re the noisiest table there and everyone was looking at us, I shy shy lah. The shop is not big you know. Anyways the soba noodle really got me very full! It was great. We then headed to a dessert place called Meetfresh where people eat Taiwanese Taro Ball dessert. I didn’t order anything because I was so full till my neck. The rest ate. We filmed a few funny scenes. It was good. So we said our goodbyes and head home.

I.AM.SO.EXHAUSTED. because my energy is all wasted on spasticness that makes us so awesome and I would relive the moment everyday if I could. *Living the dream*

XOXO
Sue
