Monday Blues? Not For Me.

today i am so happy. not even kidding. i think God loves me more than i know or more than i expected. he has definitely blessed me with awesome people in my life that actually makes my Australia stay even more fun and worthwhile, it kinda makes life easier and worth living for. :)

Anna came up to me yesterday at church asking if i want to join her to the beach today. i said YES.
she picked me and Keilah at 8.30am and drove to Kathryn's house to pick her. we stopped by at Firefly (also where Benny works as a barista) to get coffee. that was my breakfast. Keilah went to get herself some bread and bought 1 ham and cheese danish for the rest of us to share,it's very thoughtful of her. we then drove to the beach.

the beach's name is CurlCurl. not too far away from Lane Cove, maybe about 30 minutes drive.
4 of us went to sun bake. applied sunscreen and all then lie on our beach towels to get baked under the sun. Anna, Keilah and I then decided to get a dipped in the sea. the water was freezing cold, like ice cold. we saw little fishes swimming around us which was nice. so we dipped for about 20minutes and then we came out back to our towels and sun bake. Anna and I did a walkie along the whole beach and back to our spots. it was a good workout. the sun was so hot but plus the cool breeze,it makes it SO PERFECT. the sky was a clear blue and the clouds were white and beautiful. dogs were swimming in the little lagoon and people were surfing in the sea. how can people look at this scenery and not think that there's a God who created all of this for us to enjoy? such beautiful nature it is.

anyways, we left about half past 12 to Forest Way Shopping Mall to visit Heidi my love for lunch. i had 2 sushi rolls and everybody else had something from the sushi shop and also bought mackers chips and coke etc. after lunch we all head to a little cafe in the mall to have coffee. chatted till about 2.15pm and we left. heidi has to get back to work and i got work at 3.30pm. i reached home about 3pm and refill my water bottle and left for work, i came back at 6.30pm. showered and had my dinner till about 7.40pm and left for connect group. i then came back about 10.30pm. whoa, my day has been hectic but i LOVE the beach moment! i never thought i'd spent the day like how an Aussie would but i think i love it. i definitely wanna do it again.

Cousin's 21st.

so if you have read my SEE CAMP post,you'd probably know i've left camp on Saturday arvo instead of Sunday. WHY? coz i got a cousin's 21st to attend. i'm not complaining, it turned out to be a good party that i actually enjoyed although i missed camp more.

so i came back by train and bus ALONE from camp praying that the party will be good. at least not to disappoint me where i'll probably hate parties in the future if it interferes with my church stuff. i listened to some good music on my mobile phone and prayed along the way.

PRAYER ANSWERED.

my cousin Matt went to Chatswood to pick up a friend that he's bringing to the party and i obviously got to know that friend as well. when we reached the party, i was thinking i didn't know anyone except cousins and this will probably be a shitty party for me. as me and Brandon (cousin's friend) arrived first, we brought up the balloons for deco and started chatting which turned out really good. then later on everybody started arriving and my brother happened to chat with Brandon as well and i got to chat with them too. that's coz i only know Brandon out of so many people in the party. anyways, 1st glass of red wine already made me tipsy, so i started blurted out stuff. which actually made me click with Brandon. anyhoos, 1 drink led to another, i suddenly had 4 drinks already, and my stupid mistake was i mixed drinks. no wonder the tipsyness worsen.

after the 4th glass, i was sitting on the couch watching my aunts dance and also my gran. not bad for an 80 yr old ay? anyways, when the song I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith came on,everyone started singing. i was sitting on the couch singing alone coz my feet is sore from blisters and i have to look after my aunt's bags etc. Brandon came over and put 1 arm around me and started singing with me. how nice of him! he was obviously drunk/tipsy too. i was certainly tipsy. later on i went to the dancefloor and dance and my distant cousin Anna bought 10 shots, Rachel (also my distant cousin) forced me to take 1 shot. damn! after that shot, i was really thinking i might just passed out on the floor. but no,i went home, washed my face, brushed my teeth and went straight to bed. like i can't even think anymore,i can't walk straight, it's so bad. anyways it was fun. i danced a lot even with some of the birthday girl's friends even though i didn't know them or their names but we had fun! :D

so yes, i can't say i've regretted coming back from camp coz i did enjoy myself too.

SEE CAMP !

well, i'm guessing people who knew that i went to my church camp would definitely want to hear all about what happen,so here goes nothing...
it is in fact, a very fun camp i must say, i never regret going even though it's just for a day. the camp was on Friday - Sunday.

The camp was at Kurrajong, a Christian Center. there's many activities we can do there, e.g. canoeing, water slide, horse riding, swimming, watching movies, tennis etc.

Friday

Paul was supposed to pick me and Keilah up at 11.30am to leave Lane Cove and since he hasn't finished running errands, he messaged me to say he'll pick us at 12pm. Keilah then requested 12.15pm because she hasn't finish packing, s0 he messaged Ernest to tell him that he'll pick Ernest at 12.10pm but he sent that message to me. -.-" i was suppose to walk to BP Station about 2mins walk but then Paul called and said he can stop by my place to pick so i don't have to walk! yay! i got heavy bag and a sleeping bag but seriously,i didn't mind walking because my bag has wheels where i can pull it! so after he picked Ernest, he picked me and then Keilah then off we go but before that he wanted to pump some petrol so we went to the Shell Station and also had Mackers there. HAHA! then off we go. Keilah said it'll take approximately 1.5 - 2 hours to get there and it's a the bottom of Blue Mountain ! HA! i wanna go to Blue Mountain some day!

i first noticed a cob web in Paul's car at the backseat behind the driver, so i cleaned it and Ernest heroically killed a baby spider LOL. later, Keilah noticed a even bigger cob web on my side of the seat. damn! we didn't wipe it off though, can't be bothered. as long as it doesn't bother me i'm fine. the trip wasn't bored as Keilah and Paul are very good at socializing so there wasn't any awkward silence haha! shared some stuff, agreed to some stuff, disagreed to some stuff etc. when we were about 20mins away from the place, i started having dizziness and feeling a bit sick. i told Keilah and she told Paul -.-" he asked "omg Sue,is my driving that bad?" i was like wth...NO! it's coz i looked at the friggin map ! i can't read in moving transport. when we reached up the place, we were welcomed by crazy ppl shooting water at us with their water pistols. damn ! WET. i told them i was feeling a bit sick and that Paul is a bad driver =P

anyhoo, we settled in and changed into some very old clothes and went canoeing. we played TIP (which will be known as KEJAR-KEJAR to Malaysians) while canoeing. damn. all of us nearly fell into the stinky lake and everyone was pretty much soaked. LOL. we kept rowing ourselves into reeds and Monica was so terrified she kept squealing (it was partly annoying to my ears) and since Paul was her partner, he kept rowing into reeds. gaaahhh~ we then plucked water lilies (it was so damn pretty) and took it back up to our place and put it in a glass for deco.

we then chit chatted during our free time + also waited for others to come up and waiting for our dinner as well. there was just 9 of us there, some can only come up at night and some can come up the next day so yeah. the girls obviously went to wash up while waiting for dinner. all i knew was, after i wash up and got changed, i saw the boys playing soccer at the balcony. there were fence there of course but it's the small rounded pole kind of fence. so i went into my room and tidy up my stuff and suddenly Victor came in the room asking Heidi to quickly get band aid or first aid kit and come. (Heidi was professionally trained before for emergencies) we asked Victor why? what happened? then he said "oh Junny injured himself playing soccer"
so she wasn't quite sure where the first aid kit was but she went and see how badly injured is he. apparently, the awesome Junny (aka Paul, we call him that) wanted to kick the soccer ball but missed and kicked the fence. his fourth toe on his right foot was sliced downwards and around. it was split apart a little. bleeding like hell. Heidi took a cloth to wrap it first to stop the bleeding then went and search for the first aid kit and bandage his foot. poor Paul. Jo called the reception of the Christian Center and asked where's the nearest hospital. so Paul had to hop around, he went in the hall and sat down. waited for dinner, Scott decided he'll take Paul to the hospital because he knows his way around Kurrajong. so he drove Paul to the canteen even though it's walking distance but of course,with his foot like that, he can't possibly hop all the way. our dinner was at 6-7pm. Paul then confesses his love to all of us during dinner time,he said "you guys are all so awesome, you know i love you all right?" we were like 'awwww' coz it was so sudden. Scott and Paul left at 6.30pm to the hospital and we were all feeling sorry for Paul so we planned to visit him at the hospital if it does take a long time.

after dinner we went back to the hall and relax and played cards, eating chocolate, drinking tea and stuff. just chillax. we were also waiting for time to past so that we can call Scott and ask how long will it take. Monica kept messaging Paul to check in on his condition, Victor called Scott and let Scott know that we're planning to surprise Paul so let us know when they know how long it will take. at about 7.22pm (i checked my phone for reference haha) Paul called me to tell me his condition, that it will take few hours because they need to do X-ray and stuff, asked me to pray for him. so i said "okay Paul, will definitely pray for you, hope you're feeling better and see you soon".

our thinking was, if one of us gets hurt, all of us gets hurt too. so i got the phone call from Paul and Heidi got a phone call from Scott at the same time announcing the time that they had to stay there for. but obviously they weren't near each other when they made the phone call. keeps me wondering lol. anyways,i announced the time that they gotta stay so i kinda was the one who gave the green light to leave the place immediately and surprise Paul. we all packed a lot of food, i suggested we take a few cans of coke there just for Paul, Heidi brought Uno, Poker, Poker cards. Victor brought our supper (cakes) and biscuits and we're good to go. Me, Heidi, Keilah and Monica were in Heidi's car and when we passed by KFC and Monica was like "can we go get KFC for Paul?" so we went to the drive-thru and bought him a popcorn chicken lol. 4 of us paid for it. Victor arrived at the hospital first and then called Heidi to check where were we. so Victor,Ernest and Jo waited at the car park for us and once we all carried our stuff, we walked in the Emergency Center and Paul saw us he was like "OMG what? why'd you guys came?" and then i passed him the KFC popcorn chicken and said "we bought this for you" and when he saw the poker games and biscuits and cake he was like "awww can't believe you guys did this for me. i feel so loved now,so much love".

anyways, Paul was called in and the doctor did an X-ray his feet and took off the bandage that Heidi wrapped on, and then he came out to wait for his turn to get stitches. we were playing Uno on a kid's table that Heidi took from the nursery area and also a kid's chair for Paul to rest his feet on LOL. after a while,i noticed blood was rolling down his feet i was like "Paul, blood is dripping" *points at feet* and then Jo asked if there's tissue around and she was about to go to the toilet to get some and i pulled out few tissues from my bag to wipe the blood off his feet and the chair. Heidi then wrapped his leg with the bandage again to prevent blood dripping. lol.

after Adam arrived at the hospital we then leave to head back home. Victor decided to stay back and accompany Paul until he's done. so all of us left. we went back to watch a movie as scheduled. there was a mini cinema and i kid you not, it looks like a friggin cinema! except the chairs and everything is a little old but how cool is that man! we watched The Usual Suspects, it was a good movie but i wasn't paying attention in the beginning so i kinda zone out. i was tired anyways. after the movie we head back to wait till Paul and Vic arrives. Chris, Kathryn, Dave,Ben,Sophie and Anna then arrived at the camp. we played cards and chit chatted until about 2ish am and Vic and Paul walks in. whoa. 7 hours waiting at the hospital, not cool. he got 4 stitches.

Saturday

woke up to have breakfast, Paul skipped breakfast because he said he isn't the kind to take breakfast. right before ministry session started, he whine about the pain on his toes, he wanted to take Panadol with Coke but because he hasn't had any breakfast, he wasn't allowed to take Panadol. LOL. after session we split into our own Connect Groups and then discussed in a group and after that we just hang around the hall waiting for lunch to be ready. since last night i saw Paul's feet all yellow because of the iodin medicine the doctor put on. i can't stand the sight of it because it's gross and nobody wants to help him clean it plus he can't bend to clean it, not with his toes like this. so i said to Heidi "hey do you have any wet wipes or tissue or cloth that i can use to wipe off the iodin off Paul's feet?". she then said she has wet wipes in her bag and pass me the packet and she said she wanted to wrap his feet up for him too with a bandage pad underneath so that he doesn't feel so uncomfortable. so i took the packet of wet wipes and i told Paul not to move his feet, i sat next to him and started wiping his feet LOL. he was like "omigosh Sue you're awesome, thanks for cleaning it for me". so i said "nah its okay, no worries, i know you can't possibly bend and clean it yourself." and he felt so touched he said "i'll clean your feet for you next time ok? deal?" and i just look up at him and was like O.o" "what for? NONONO". so i cleaned his feet and you know how the tendons are linked in your toes? Heidi was telling me to be careful in case if i move any of his toes,i might just split the injured one. so i was trying to clean in between his big toe and the 2nd toe, i folded the tissue in half and slide in between and wipe. out of nowhere, Paul said "Sue,you should be a nurse,you're so gentle". i was like o.O" "no way! i don't want to." then i started to rub really hard on his feet,nowhere near the toes lol. he started laughing. ish ! anyways, after that we went to lunch and Jo took me to the station after lunch so i can come back to Lane Cove and miss all the actual FUN at camp. actually i had a cousin's 21st to attend.

highlights:

~drove pass a few llamas and we girls just made noise to distract it,manage to take pics,all with Keilah.

~saw sheeps and ducks loitering lol.

~first time in my life that i saw SO MANY stars in the sky at night that i feel like God is with us.

~canoeing was fun, especially rowing into reeds,plucking water lilies and ramming into each other.

~saw a dead frog floating on top of the swimming pool that Keilah decided to get it off the pool.

~Heidi flashed at us as usual.

~talked about bowels in most of our conversations as if we're fascinated by it. actually we are. XD

A Little Recap Over The Weekend.

Saturday

so i had officially started work, it was very relaxing thanks to Scott my colleague/ supervisor/ friend. the moment i walked in he was telling me that it's gonna be a relaxing day since i only teach two styles and blah blah blah, we chatted for a while but i was kinda in a blur mode so i just smiled a lot. *regrets* so yeah as you can see, a person's encouragement or comfort really helps another by starting their day or work. it's the mentality.

Sunday

2nd day of work, feeling a little nervous when i saw my morning supervisor. damn ! she's a bit strict and observant compare to the rest, so yeah i'd feel a little tension and nervous but everything went well, my day was good, and some kid sang Jingle Bell to me. haha~ i know what you're thinking. you're thinking *awwww* yes, so do i. at first he was singing Jingle Bell when he was doing backstroke and i asked him what was he singing so he sang it to me. the original version and the other version to it, insulting batman and robin. LOL. but yeah, all good.

skipped church and waited for my cousin to come because he said he wanted to take some movies/series from me but he end up not coming. man,i skipped church for nuts. oh wells.

Monday

another day at work, wasn't as nervous or whatever because it's the afternoon classes which i love the most ! wasn't stress or anything but a kid told me he broke his arm so he's just enter recovery and can't do heavy strokes/ sport. he sounds British, cute little fella. anyhoo,i let him stay on the side and do backstrokes or dolphin kicks where he doesn't have to move his left arm that much. but yeah. all good as well.

i thank God for giving me a good work experience these past few days because i'd pray every time before i go and it always turn out good :)

went to Connect Group, Hannah made some gingerbread cookies, omg so yum! there's Christmas Tree shape, Ginger Bread man shape and stars and butterflies. pretty! i love gingerbread cookies! had a great time at Connect.

going to camp this Friday, kinda pumped about it. Jo said she'd send me the list of things to bring but i had not received it. she said she'd send it again.

my Internet died, so yes i'd be at home with no Internet till the 11th. but i'd be at camp by then so i'll prolly online on the 12th. sorry to my dear friends.

p.s. thank god i got shows/series to keep me occupied when there isn't any Internet. oh in case you're wondering how i got to post this up, it's because i'm at the Lane Cove library using the wireless Internet. it's free but it's SLOW. haha.

Two Places At Once

ok i'm so out of mood right now.

remember i blogged about having either to go to church camp or attend my cousin's 21st?

i have chosen to go to the camp because i didn't want to disappoint anyone since it is already paid. but now it seems i'm back at square one just a good 20 minutes ago when my aunt decided to drop by and also told me that it's better if i don't miss her daughter's 21st because it is once in a lifetime. yes i know it is once in a lifetime but don't you think i feel bad too? for missing her 21st. it's like taking a walk down guilt trip road. in fact, i have been walking on it since the day my church friends announced that they've already paid for me to the church camp. why God? why do you want to do this to me? why do you want to put me in such a difficult situation? is it funny to you? is it very amusing for you to watch from up there? it's torturing me, my heart and my head. i can't possibly cut myself into half and be at two places at once can i? SIGH.

i have just googled the place that we're staying at for church camp and just 12 km away there's a train station so i guess it's not so bad? maybe i could get someone to send me to the station so i can train back home? get ready and go to the party? damn. i dunno. i hope someone is kind enough and willing to send me to the train station? but i would feel damn bad as well. SIGH.

Bush Walking... (28/11/10)

today, Anna, Freddie, Monica, Keilah, Heidi and I went bush walking in Ku-ring Gai.

the walk down was smooth as hell but the walk up was a bitch ! let me explain, normally bush walking people would have to climb up to the top and probably play with the waterfall right? in Australia is different, the beaches are at the bottom so we actually start our route from the top to bottom.

as for America Bay, we didn't go all the way down it's a very long way down and so Anna took us to the detour lookout. the scenery was so bloody beautiful. i was in awe when i reached the detour lookout of America Bay. we didn't got to walked the whole America Bay because Anna was focusing on bringing Freddie to see the scenery from the top of the mountains.

next we went to Flint Steel Bay and walked all the way down to the beach. I changed into my swimmers, there wasn't any toilet or whatever so i asked Freddie to hold the towel for me while i change -.- later as i wanted to walk into the water, the rocks were so slippery i slipped and fell and sat on my ass. wtf so freaking pain, my left bum cheek has a bruise and my right knee has a little cut and it's bleeding and my right hand middle finger has a cut too. wtf! oh wth, we played 500 and my team won! anyways on the way back up, Keilah and I saw a wallaby when we were walking up from Flint Steel Bay.

funny thing that we did:

Heidi was meeting us later so she asked us to wait at the Flint Steel Bay entrance. so the roads there are quite quiet. like there's not many cars passing by and sometimes you see cyclist. so, Anna, Me, Keilah, Freddie, and Monica sat at the side of the road waiting for Heidi and i dunno who suggested Anna to strip so that Keilah could take a photo. so Anna was kinda shy,but she just unbutton her denim shorts and then Keilah didn't manage to take a photo so we asked her to do it again! then Freddie joined to strip, they lift their shirts up and Keilah manage to get a photo. so i suddenly got an idea and asked Anna to strip when Heidi arrives, for her to see! but Anna and Monica suggested that 4 of us do it, means Me, Anna, Monica & Freddie. damn. so we were all prepared to flash our undies. LOL~ we waited till we were bored and we all already undid our buttons getting ready so we chatted and not pay attention, then i saw Heidi's car and told them she's here.. as her car was coming towards us, we were like CRAP! and quickly flash our undies, but Anna just went for it, all the way down showing off her ass. Heidi just stopped her car and was like laughing her ass off and she was like 'OMG girls, that was so amazing! so awesome! ' then after the whole bush walking, she said 'you girls made my day! especially with my special welcoming gift!' HAHAHAHAH

Wuthering Heights Movie.

OKAY. so i've finished watching the movie Wuthering Heights based on the book by Emily Bronte.





it was....well....a little mind twisting. it definitely helped me clear up the characters of course. it involves LOVE among an adopted brother with his sister (not blood related because he is adopted) that burns and she has chosen to marry a rich man in order to help her adopted brother (played by Ralph Fiennes,you may know him from Harry Potter as Lord Voldemort but defaced).. her brother couldn't take it and ran away for 3 years, he then came back to visit but was a different man, he was successful. then her daughter grew up and had to marry her dad's sister's (meaning her aunt) son.... i think... if i'm not mistaken. well,basically it's twisted to me because it involves a lot of incest. so yeah, EW! anyways, it's suppose to be a good movie/story book but i guess literature isn't my thang. but you people can enjoy the movie if you are able to find it. the story was first published in 1847 and the movie in 1992. so yeah.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte @ Ellis Bell

so yesterday, i did not know why i thought of Wuthering Heights the night before, not that any of my friends or the shows i watched has mentioned it, i went to the library near my apartment to try my luck and see if they have the book so that i could loan it from them.

they actually have it! so i borrowed it home and read about almost 11 chapters that i decided i did not understand it. it's not only that the English is a little different and hard to understand, the writer Emily Bronte who published the book under the pseydonym Ellis Bell writes it in many of the character's point of view that i find it to be very confusing. especially when they have the main characters naming their kids in the same names. plus the writer hardly reveals obviously which character's point of view is she talking from. gaaah~

so i went back to the library today, i remembered that when i checked in the catalogue yesterday, it showed that there's a DVD of Wuthering Heights and i went to look for the DVD today. and to my surprise,i found it ! so yes,i gave up trying to straighten my head out about the story and went on to loaning the DVD. yes,i returned the book. LOL~!!

I manage to borrowed the book FALLEN by Lauren Kate. i will read it ASAP and tell you what i think. come to think of it, i think you will love the library because there's SO MANY adult fiction/young adult fiction books there, especially those with vampires and whatnot. i think if you were here, you'd probably spend most of your time in the library and not coming out till you've finished reading the books! HAHA! oh, and the book FALLEN looks a bit old because its been there since 2009. >.<"

anyhoo, i will watch the DVD and post about what i think of it once i'm done.

ARE U SHITTING ME?

i have been trying to upload a panorama picture that i took with my mobile phone and i really liked it ! the thing is, Facebook have been SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS it wouldn't allow me to upload that picture ! it kept telling me that it has error and i thought it must be the size of the picture or maybe the picture format. but i checked, and it's 171KB with JPEG format, so what is wrong? i have no idea too ! so i asked Vickie, whom is quite expert with photos, and she told me to try uploading it to my Facebook wall instead of any albums. so i tried.
